Should your clothes and accessories serve a purpose other than just looking good? I think so, and with the utility trend still booming, it is easier than ever to find luxury pieces that are truly functional and multi-purpose. One item that has caught my eye is Louis Vuitton’s Daily Multi Pocket 30mm Belt, which is a lovely belt that features two removable pouches and a key holder.

SIZE, STRUCTURE, AND DETAILS
THE DAILY MULTI POCKET BELT
The belt is crafted of iconic monogram canvas and it has a gold-colored tang (ardillon) buckle that is engraved with the monogram pattern.
Additionally, the reverse side of the belt is lined with black calf-leather. The belt measures 1.2” in width and it comes in three different lengths. The first is the 70cm, which measures 27.56”. Next is the 80cm belt that measures 31.50”. Finally, you have the 90cm belt that comes in a 35.43”. In order to select the correct size, the Louis Vuitton website states that the belt must be measured (using a soft measuring tape) from the buckle to the third hole in the belt strap. It also mentions that to assure an accurate fit, you must take your measurements at the highest part of your hips.
In addition, to give you some perspective, the size chart on Louis Vuitton’s website indicates that a 75cm belt is equivalent to a US pant size 2, 80cm is a US pant size 4, and a 90cm belt would equate to a US pant size 8.
REMOVABLE RECTANGULAR POUCH OF THE DAILY MULTI POCKET BELT
EXTERIOR
The exterior of the removable rectangular pouch is composed of Louis Vuitton’s monogram canvas, and it measures 4.25” (in length) x 3.0” (in height), x 2.25” (in depth).
In addition, the pouch has a flap that has a metal gold-tone snap that snaps closed to keep your items secure. To boot, the snap is inscribed with “LOUIS VUITTON” and the trademark symbol. Furthermore, the rectangular pouch also has a slit at the back so you can slide it over the belt.
INTERIOR
The interior of the rectangular pouch is lined with black calf-leather. Undoubtedly, it is a cutie that can easily fit in excess of 40 cards and cash folded in half! As an added perk, the removable rectangular pouch has a wonderful pocket at the back of the pouch that is handy for storing your driver’s license for quick access. Additionally, embossed on one side of the lining (in a golden color) is the “Louis Vuitton Paris”/Trademark symbol, as well as the “made in France” stamp.
REMOVABLE SMALL ROUND WALLET OF THE DAILY MULTI POCKET BELT
EXTERIOR
The round “wallet” is similar to Louis Vuitton’s Round Coin Purse, or the small round pouch of the Trio Pouch, in that it is crafted of monogram canvas and … well, it is round; however, it only measures 3.75” x 3.75”, which is slightly smaller than the others.
In addition, the small round wallet closes via a metal gold-tone zipper and zipper pull. What makes this piece unique is that it has a charming little front pocket and flap. The flap includes a metal gold-tone snap that snaps closed to cover the tiny little pocket.
Furthermore, in true Louis Vuitton form, the snap on the flap is inscribed with “LOUIS VUITTON” and the trademark symbol. Finally, the small round wallet has a slit on the back so you can slide the piece over the belt.
INTERIOR
The interior of the small round wallet is lined with black cowhide leather that is embossed on one side with the “Louis Vuitton Paris”/Trademark symbol, as well as the “made in France” stamp.
Unfortunately, the main compartment of this round “wallet” absolutely cannot fit a credit card. In fact, I tried slightly bending one card, and while it eventually went in, I was not able to zip the round pouch closed. The main area does, however, nicely hold ear pods, regular wired ear buds, cash folded in thirds, bobby pins, hair ties, or plenty of coins. I am not sure what the front pocket will fit. I mean, it is tiny! Then again, you might be able to fit a quarter.
REMOVALABLE KEY HOLDER OF THE DAILY MULTI POCKET BELT
This is essentially a strip of Louis Vuitton’s monogram canvas that has a non-openable loop at one end, and an openable loop at the other end. It measures 2.5” in length (while snapped closed).
Of importance, the non-openable loop simply slides over the belt. Conversely, the openable loop snaps closed to hold a keyring (included), or anything else you want! Of course, the snap contains the same Louis Vuitton inscription as the other pieces, and the gold-tone keyring also displays “LOUIS VUITTON” on one side.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE LOUIS VUITTON DAILY MULTI POCKET 30MM BELT
To clean my Daily Multi Pocket Belt, I just wipe it down with a dampened white cloth. USE OF THE DAILY MULTI POCKET BELT
WEAR IT AS A BELT
I have to tell you … I am absolutely in love with the versatility of this piece! Sometimes you just don’t have pockets on the outfit you are wearing. Furthermore, you may also not want to carry a purse or a wristlet. So, what do you do?
Thankfully, you can wear your fancy Louis Vuitton Daily Multi Pocket 30mm Belt with its small round wallet and rectangular pouch. That is what I did this weekend while on vacation, and the combination proved to hold the perfect amount. For example, I was able to hold my key fob, bank cards, and lipstick in the rectangular pouch. I also stashed my ear pods, cash, and a hair tie in the round wallet. While there was no room for my phone, my watch works as a phone anyway, so it was perfect! Later, when I wore slim fitting jeans, I just stuck my phone in my pocket for added convenience.
ALTERNATIVE USE
With regard to the key holder, I have to admit, it is pretty awesome. You can use the beautiful keyring and carry your keys, or you can attach an additional fashion item (like your Louis Vuitton Key Pouch) and let it dangle from your belt.
In addition, I have found other uses for the key holder. For instance, I also have the Louis Vuitton Party Palm Springs Bracelet and, while I appreciate the tiny backpack, it cannot even hold a credit card! It can, however, easily hold my key fob, bobby pins, and cash folded into thirds. What I did was to take the removable key holder, slide it over the leather strap of the Party Palm Spring bracelet, and then open the end of the key holder and snap on the medium pouch of my Trio Pouch or my Louis Vuitton Key Pouch.
This allowed me to carry my driver’s license and bank cards with me. Furthermore, when I attached my Key Pouch to the bracelet, it simply dangled close to my wrist like a very secure wristlet!

Afterward, when I was tired of having it dangle, I just tucked the Key Pouch between my wrist and the leather bracelet.
